Our brand new, completely gorgeous studio in Edwardstown is a light, bright and super-zen little place to hang out with your loved ones for an hour or so.
The majority of our sessions are photographed here, especially our Newborns and Babies under 18 months. Everything you could need is here, including our Studio Wardrobe, change table, blankets, wraps, burp cloths, toilet and kitchen facilities and, of course, as much coffee as you need.
All our Design and Ordering appointments are held at the studio too, our incredible 65″ Frame TV shows off your images perfectly, and all our samples of finished products are available to view.
What type of sessions are best held here?
All our sessions types are held at the studio, and we’d specifically recommend any session where the youngest child is less than 18 months old. Ideal for Maternity and Newborn Sessions, Baby, Family and Cake Sessions.
How early should I book?
For Newborns we recommend booking as early as possible – ideally in your 2nd trimester. The studio is generally booked 2-3 weeks in advance.
What are the start times?
Our studio sessions are held at 10 am, 1 pm and 2.30 pm – however we hold the earlier sessions specifically for Newborns, as they tend to be a little more settled earlier in the day.
Who can attend? Can we bring our fur baby?
Absolutely! We always encourage the immediate family to attend! Older siblings and parents are included at no extra cost.
You’re more than welcome to bring the fur baby along HOWEVER, they must pose NO threat to the baby what-so-ever and be reasonably well trained – able to sit on command and settle after a period of time.
What do we wear?
We recommend plain and simple clothing. Light and muted colours work beautifully in the studio.
NOTE: It is always Summer in the studio. We need the studio to be warm for our Newborns to be content when partially undressed, so light clothing will be best for parents and siblings.
We have a gorgeous selection of dresses in our studio wardrobe and you are welcome to choose from anything in our range.
Plain and simple works best, anything that you feel fabulous in. For partners, anything co-ordinating with you is perfect – keep it simple and steer clear of any large checks, spots, stripes or logos. If in doubt, just get in touch and we can help co-ordinate the whole family if you need.
Should I have my hair and make up done?
This is completely up to you, however we do find that mumma’s who invest a little bit in themselves, feel just that little bit more fabulous in front of the camera. And how you feel is what it’s all about at the end of the day!
So if it’s a good excuse to find 45 minutes to escape to be pampered, then go for it!
Bear in mind though, that the Beach is often windy, so perfectly styled hair may not stay that way and it’s really important to just go with the flow and not worry too much.
How much are Studio sessions?
All our sessions are $285.
This covers your photographer’s time and talent capturing your gorgeous images, and an in studio Design and Ordering Appointment. Your session also includes one 8×10″ matted art print of your choice. (the session fee does not include digital files, these are available to purchase)
You can then choose to order additional prints and products, including digital files, from our Studio Catalogue. We go through this in detail at your Design and Ordering Appointment, however to give you a rough idea, most of our families spend around $2000.
There is no minimum spend, and no obligation to purchase. However, you WILL LOVE your images, so please make sure you discuss our pricing with your partner and all decision makers prior to booking.
How do I book?
You can jump on the studio’s calendar linked below, choose a Studio (newborn, family, pregnancy or cake) session.
In order to secure your date and time, we require the session fee to be paid in full, however this is able to be rescheduled in the event of illness, covid or bad weather*
