Hi! I'm Kate.
Lover of big earrings and coffee, and humans big and small. A true believer of big-picture-thinking, mindfulness and capturing the beauty in the everyday.
Kate founded the studio in 2012. She’s been a photographer for nearly 18 years (managed to win some awards along the way and is a Master Photographer with the former AIPP)
She has three kiddos, all born within 3.5 years of each other … they are now fully fledged teenagers. This is why she’s grey already.

When you have nice round belly! Usually from 30+ weeks.
Arrive at your allocated time and enjoy a cool drink and a browse through the studio wardrobe if you wish.
From here we’ll start the session and move fairly quickly through a beautiful flow of imagery to capture this time – focussing on your belly and the beauty of your connection with your growing babe.
If older children are coming along we’ll get them involved of course, and dad is welcome to attend too. The main focus however will be on mum and tum.
Your booking fee secures your session time on our mini session day.
You will receive a preparation guide a few days prior to your session.
It covers the creation of your gallery of images, full access to the studio wardrobe, and one 5×7″ art print of your choice from your gallery.

BUT! … we are pretty good at what we do, and most of our families love LOTS of images from their session. And it is such a glorious time to celebrate and create beautiful artworks, we’d hate for you to miss this opportunity.

YES! Absolutely.
The session time allocation is only small so if siblings are attending we will move pretty quickly so we can achieve the greatest variety of images for you.

We are dog people through and through! Fur babies are just as much a part of the family as anyone and they should be included!
Remember though, the shoot time is only short, so if doggo takes time to settle in or to “sit/stay” etc, you might not want this to eat into your shooting time.
Absolutely! This is just as much a celebration for them as it is for you!
Partners are welcome, but the baby belly is very much attached to YOU at this stage, so whilst partners are included in lots of images, the focus will be on you and belly.
