Our cake sessions are hilarious fun (very popular with dads for some reason?) and are a fabulous way to celebrate babes first birthday.

Prepare to get pretty messy, but have an absolute blast.

Celebrate the first birthday by getting messy. The concept is ridiculous, but the memories are priceless.

Cake sessions are best held just before the first birthday – often families choose to do it ON the first birthday which is pretty special!

We start with some gorgeous family photographs and then get stuck into the cake.

It’s so much fun watching these little people work out how to deal with this new situation!

From there, we go into to ‘wash up’ stage, a beautiful vintage inspired mini-claw foot bath where they can splash, enjoy some bubbles and rubber duckies and generally have the time of their lives!

WHAT AGE IS BEST?

under 12 months and preferably when they are still sitting and not yet crawling, but this happens at different times for each babe.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

We organise everything you need, you just need to bring a baby! We include a plain cream sponge cake (professionally made), balloons and decorations for the background, towels, claw foot bath, rubber duckies … everything!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

$90 to book your session in our diary and our cake sessions do come with a minimum spend of our 10 digital file collection. So you can budget accordingly, you can find our full product guide by sending an enquiry.

DOES IT INCLUDE FAMILY PHOTOS?

Absolutely!

We start with updated family photos while everyone is still clean! These are a small part of the overall session, but it’s nice to get some lovely updated family images while we are at it.

ARE SIBLINGS INCLUDED?

This is entirely up to you.

Often families like to add the older sibling into the cake-choas towards the end so we capture the best of both worlds.
